The Real Estate Management Brokers Institute, which was organized and designed to improve the principles, increase the knowledge and develop a fundamental sense of human relationship, has established the following requirements for those seeking to qualify for designation as a Certified Real Estate Manager.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Applicants must submit a completed application along with an application fee of $15.00 and receive approval from the admission's committee. Just download the MEMBERSHIP Application, and print it on your system, and then mail it to the address on the form.

(NOTE: If you only get a "blank page" in your browser window, then you can open the Application file manually:
1) Just RIGHT "click" on the "download MEMBERSHIP Application" link above;
2) Choose SAVE to DISK, and specify folder Location of where you want to SAVE it;
3) Then "click" to OPEN after the file has been saved on your disk.

The application is an Adobe file, and you can download the latest Adobe Acrobat reader , for FREE !! (Version 5 is the latest version of the Acrobat reader).

2. Applicants must hold current membership with a Local Realtist Board or in cities where there is no local  board, must be affiliated with the National Board and successfully complete the prescribed courses and examinations which includes the writing of a case study.
3. Membership committee must approve applicant.
4. Must be a high school graduate or have the equivalent of four years high school education.
5. A minimum of one year experience in real estate management.
6. Must be at least 21 years of age.
7. Must prove eligibility based on the following point system of which a minimum of 35 required points for a CRM and 75 required points for a CREM.
8. Subscribe to the Annual Membership dues of $50.00 and pay candidate fees of $25.00 in addition to the application fee of $15.00 and the membership dues of $50.00.

Accredited Real Estate Organizations (Non-government) $200.00


REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITED REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATIONS: 

1. Organization wishing to become accredited members must have a C.R.E.M. working in their 
    organization. 
2. Must subscribe to the Bylaws and Professional Pledge of REMBI. 
3. Must complete the REMBI application and submit the same for consideration along with a filing 
    fee of $25.00.
